"In My Work, I Want To Build a Healing Relationship in Which Development Can Take Place."

Viewing life as a process, we navigate in a creative space between the somatic and the systemic. For me, a successful relationship is of central importance in this context. That is why I consider an honest systemic approach to be a crucial factor in my work, which I embody with humor and an appreciation for diversity.

Framework Conditions
On this page you will find information about
Scope of my work, dem methodological approachand my theoretical assumptions.First, I would like to explain what I mean by these terms. Consulting and training understand.

  • Counseling

For me, the term counseling encompasses processes in which I support people through conversation and various methods to actively shape change, develop solutions, and cope with psychological stress. My approach is primarily guided by my clients' concerns, supporting them in embarking on a process of self- and relationship clarification, in which they can discover their strengths and potential. While there are often overlaps between private and professional life, systemic counseling focuses primarily on issues related to private life, whereas coaching and supervision primarily address professional topics. All counseling formats can take place in individual and group settings (couples, families, teams, groups, etc.).

  • Training

I use the term training to encompass all forms of educational work in which I convey experience and knowledge in a structured way to support people in acquiring new skills and deepening existing ones. The terms seminar, lecture, workshop, or training course describe the time frame in which this takes place. All training formats are designed for a group setting (minimum of 6 people).

  • Somatics

Systemic bodywork and constellation work are somatically based methods used in counseling, supervision, coaching, and training, but can also be used independently. This is particularly relevant when dealing with complex issues, non-verbal dynamics, or deep-seated blockages, and when the desired solution cannot be reached through conversation alone. Somatic techniques and methods work with breath, movement, and touch, as well as the qualities of space. They are sometimes criticized due to a history of various pseudoscientific theories and unprofessional application by inadequately trained individuals. Therefore, adherence to the standards of professional associations is especially important in my work.

Quality

The Quality framework of my workis governed by the standards of German Society for Systemic Therapy, Counseling and Family Therapy e.V., the Systemic Society e.V., Constellators International KG, Laughter Yoga International eU and the Diversity Charter eV. Further information can be found in the guidelines of the respective organizations. My working languages are German and English.

Core Concept
Theoretically and methodologically, I position myself
systemicThis means that I basically solution- and strengths-orientedproceed and the diverse forms of interactionyour reference systems (work, family, partnership, etc.)take into account.

Furthermore, I am pursuing a holistic approach and focus my attention on the The totality of cognitive, emotional, somatic as well as on the material and transcendent aspectsyoursConcern. TheRelationships are a key factor for me in this process.both professional and private matters, therefore theLevelsmy work:

  • Somatic-personal level: How are you doing with yourself? We explore the connection between your inner experience and your physical presence.

  • Temporal-verbal level: How are you doing with your past, future, and present? We put your story into perspective in the here and now, so that space is created for the future.

  • Contextual-spatial level: How are you doing with your reference systems? We examine the interactions within your reference systems (family, partnership, career, society) and make them visible.

The goal is a a successful relationship with yourself, but also to your past, your future, your presentand to your reference systems (family, partnership, career, society, etc.)to build.

  • Framework of the Counseling

The formal framework of the counseling is an important part of my work, which I would like to present transparently here.

    • After you contact me by phone, via the contact form, or by email, we will clarify in a 15-minute preliminary conversation whether I am the right person to help you. We will then schedule an appointment for the initial consultation.

    • The initial consultation provides an opportunity for us to get to know each other better, explore your concerns in detail, and formulate initial goals.

    • At the end of the first session, we will conclude a consultation agreement, which specifies the duration of the consultation, the fee, and all other relevant terms and conditions. The agreement serves to ensure transparency. However, you are never bound to a fixed number of sessions or a specific interval between them. You decide at any time how things will proceed and what you would like to work on. On average, you can expect 2–12 sessions spaced 2–6 weeks apart.

    • If you have achieved your goals or if there are other reasons for us to end or pause our collaboration, we will have a final consultation. There, we look back on the joint consultation process and consider what the next steps are for you.

  • Methodical Approach

My work is always tailored to your needs and goals. Here, I'd like to give you an overview of the basic principles of my approach so you can decide if this style suits you.

    • I work in a short-term capacity. This doesn't mean that every problem is solved particularly quickly, but rather that we spread a few sessions (approximately 2-12) over longer intervals (2-6 weeks) so that you can integrate the results of our work together into your daily life between sessions.

    • I use a wide variety of methods in my work. Some help me to better understand you and your situation, while others are designed to help you shift your perspective or have new experiences, chosen according to your specific needs.

    • I will ask you many questions, often unusual ones. Sometimes this is to understand you better, sometimes to stimulate your thinking, or to explore answers together.

    • It will be unavoidable that I will interrupt you from time to time. This isn't done out of rudeness, but to explore a new approach, to ensure I've understood you correctly, to offer feedback, or to gather further information. I rarely take notes during the session; that usually happens after our conversation. I do this so I can focus entirely on you during our discussion. At the end of the session, I'll develop a small task with you that you can complete before the next session, or I'll suggest an experiment. These can sometimes be quite unusual.

  • Code of Conduct

To create an effective, non-discriminatory, and respectful working environment, I would like to familiarize you with the framework and requirements of my work:

    • As a member of DGSF e.V., Constellators International, Laughter Yoga International, and a signatory of the Diversity Charter, I am committed to the respective ethical guidelines of these organizations.

    • Discriminatory actions and statements based on racist and antisemitic attributions, ethnic origin, nationality, sexual and gender identity, religion, physical or mental illness, chronic illness, age, language, social status, or other group-related attributions are not acceptable.

    • The reproduction of such attributions for the purpose of critical reflection will be clearly marked as such.

    • Physical and verbal interaction takes place within the framework of the principle of consent. A "no" does not require explanation and is always accepted. Even after prior consent to physical or verbal interaction, a pause will result in its immediate cessation.

    • Private contact between teachers and students, as well as between advisors and those seeking advice, is prohibited.

The Code of Conduct is continuously evaluated, reviewed, and adapted to the needs of marginalized groups.
